Nate Herchock battles against a Central High defender as the Outlaws got past Central High to make it a Comanche-Marlow semi-finals matchup in the 89th Annual Stephens County Tournament.

With the third game of the evening commencing, the Marlow Outlaws got a big 75-47 win over the Central High Bronchos.

Teague Prather for Central High got the first three bucket of the game and Marlow got two straight buckets from Josiah Johnson and Jamison Holland to take the lead.

Blake Harris got a three bucket while the Outlaws got several buckets to lead 17-8 but Cole Doughty hit a buzzer beating three to make it 17-11 advantage to Marlow heading to the second quarter.

Harris and Julian Marroquin hit two three buckets and buckets came from JP Forsythe, Holland and Avery Payne to spread out the offense taking the 32-20 lead at halftime.

Ryan Minden got three buckets and Cole Doughty got the final bucket as Marlow put on the throttle in the third quarter to build their lead.

Marroquin hit two three pointers while Payne hit a three and the Outlaws got the 52-35 lead with Bryson Johnson hitting two three pointers to keep the Bronchos in the game.

Johnson hit three buckets while Nate Herchock hit two buckets and the Outlaws took care of business to get the victory over the Central High Bronchos.

Marlow had two in double figures as Johnson had 18 points while Harris had 13 and Doughty for the Bronchos lead with 17 points and Prather had eight points for Central High.

The victory for the Outlaws puts them in the semi-finals and they will face one of their biggest rivals in the county facing host Comanche who beat Empire in their first round game.

Tip-off will take place at 8 p.m. Thursday at Comanche High School and the Bronchos will face off against Empire starting at 8 p.m. Friday at Comanche High School in the consolation semi-finals.
