Out of the seven total games Duncan High School played against Lawton Eisenhower, DHS didn’t win one game.

The freshmen lost 11-25 and 14-25. The junior varsity team fell 8-25 and 19-25, while the varsity lost 12-25, 11-25 and 13-25.

“The ninth-graders are improving with each game,” Duncan head coach Randi Pawpa said. “The JV didn’t play too well. They are a better group than how they played.”

In the varsity game, Lindsey Simms had both kills for the Lady Demons, and Simms and Kelsey Pollock each had an ace. Molly Byrom had two assists.

Simms had the only kill in the second game, while Gabby Walker had an assist and an ace. Brooke Jones had two digs, and Pollock had a dig.

Jones and Pollock each had two aces for DHS in the final game against the Lady Eagles, while Pollock and Byrom had two assists each.

Ashley Morgan served three aces. Pollock had two digs, while Brooke Schoonover, Simms and Walker each had one dig.

Schoonover, Jones and Walker each had one block.

Duncan will try to get back into the win column at 4 p.m. Thursday at Big Pasture.
