The Bears will start their end of the season tournament on June 6 and finished up their final regular season games on May 31 after rain outs occurred during part of the league.

“We are a 10U baseball team and we are a local league team that is made up of kids from Duncan and Velma,” Leonard said. “This is our first year to play as a team and we’ve got some kids that have played quite a bit and also some kids that this is their first year. We have played in a lot of positions that kids have never played before, so it has been a growing year for us. We have seen tremendous growth in every single one of our players.”

With the end of the season tournament coming up June 6-10 at Comanche Field of Dreams, Leonard loves that his team has improved and hopes to see them have fun in the tournament.

“We have seen the growth in the boys and they have pushed themselves in a lot positions they haven’t played in,” Leonard said. “They have done tremendously well in those positions.”

The bracket for their end of the season tournament will release once all of the regular season games have been completed.
