Duncan Boys soccer

The Duncan 2020 boys team huddle up before the game against Atoka. This week, the boys and girls team each took home the Xpress Wellness Team of the Week award.

This past week, the Duncan 2020 soccer teams went a perfect 2-0-1 with the girls winning their lone game 1-0 and the boys winning 3-1 and tying 0-0. This earned this week’s Xpress Wellness Team of the Week award.

The girls team traveled to Edmond this past weekend and got the 1-0 victory over Edmond to improve their season record to 2-0 with their next game taking place at home later this month.

The lone goal came from Kaylee Foster who netted her second goal of the U19 season by scoring off a corner kick from Kyleigh Bowers. This made it able to hold on to the victory over Edmond.

In the first home game for the Boys Duncan 2020 team against Midwest City, the boys won 3-1 with their record going to 2-0 after winning their first game 6-1 against Atoka.

Goal for the game against Midwest City came from Ben Johnson, Nick Johnson and Victor Acosta. They played the next day against Stillwater and finished the game in a tie at 0-0.

With both teams undefeated on the season, their next games will follow in two weeks.

The Duncan 2020 boys soccer team will travel to Enid for their next game scheduled for 5 p.m. June 13. They will also play at 11 a.m. June 20 at home against McAlester.

The girls will play again at 4 p.m. June 20 against Midwest City.
