After the steal, Miller hit a single to left field and advanced to second on the throw to the plate, which scored Childers to take the 1-0 lead over Comanche.

Kinley Rendon hit a double in the bottom of the first for the Lady Indians and in came courtesy runner Kenley Lemons, who took third on a wild pitch. Another wild pitch brought her in to tie the game up at one apiece after one inning of play.

Comanche loaded the bases in the bottom of the second with singles from Caity Blair, Gracee Miller and a walk from Aspen Loafman that brought up Lily Brown to the plate.

Brown hit a sacrifice fly to the right side of the field and scored Blair to take the 2-1 lead while Miller came in on a wild pitch to take the lead for the Lady Indians up to 3-1.

A few innings passed in the defensive battle before the Lady Demons tied the ball game up in the top of the fifth inning and eventually took the lead with a four run top of the fifth.
