After rain wiped out the first games of the week, two area teams will conclude the week at the Red Dirt Classic, hosted by Central High with empire as the sub site.

The tournament will take place over three days and will include 16 teams with half of them going to Central High the first day and the other half going to Empire.

Empire, who comes into the tournament with an 8-4 record, just finished another tournament in Sterling where they went 1-2 and have dropped four of their last five games.

The Bulldogs started the season with a record of 7-0 and will face a team that is ranked No. 20 in Class B at 6 p.m. March 25 as Empire hosts Maysville.

If they win, they will play again immediately starting at 8 p.m. March 25 against the winner of Rush Springs and Wynnewood.

If they lose the first game, Empire will play the loser of Rush Springs-Wynnewood starting at noon March 26 at Empire High School.

Central High, who is the host of the tournament, will get their tournament started after their first victory of the season this past Saturday as the team won against Cyril 20-19 at Bricktown Ballpark in OKC.

Now 1-7 on the season, the Bronchos will open their tournament starting at 6 p.m. March 25 against Tipton High School.

The Bronchos will advance to play at 8 p.m. March 25 if they win the first game and will face the winner of the Cyril-Fredrick game to finish off day one of the tournament.

If they lose the first game against Tipton, they will play at 2 p.m. March 26 at Central High against the loser of the Cyril-Frederick game.

Friday will bring all consolation games except the final one at each site, which will be the site championship games. The site championship games begin at 6 p.m. March 26 at both Central High and Empire.

On Saturday, March 27, the action will all take place at Central High with the consolation finals for both sites first at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. At 3 p.m. will be the consolation championship game.

The final two games of the schedule will include the third place game, which is scheduled for 5 p.m. March 27 at Central High. The title game will take place at 7 p.m. March 27 at Central High.
