Oklahomans may have heard the Fruit Truck Tour has hit the state, and it’s headed straight to the heart of Stephens County in Duncan.
The Fruit Truck Tour, put on by Fresh Farms, will visit Duncan Aug. 20 with “renowned” goods, toting fresh Washington peaches and cherries for area residents to enjoy.
Mitchell Olson, Marketing Director for Fresh Farms, said the home base is Sioux Falls, South Dakota and the organization works with farmers who “hand-pick and ship the best fruit from their orchards to communities across the country.”
“We are truly empowering consumers to demand fresh, high-quality produce without the high costs typically found in the farm-to-table movement,” Olson said. “With our simple farm-to-family business model, we source the best fruit directly from the farmers, load it up and bring it straight to local families to take home and enjoy.”
The August stop in Duncan will set up shop from 9:15 - 9:45 a.m. at McCoy’s Building Supply, 4799 N. Highway 81.
Anyone interested can order online at freshfarmsusa.com and pick up at the truck when it stops in Duncan. There will also be fresh fruit available on delivery day to those who didn’t order online.
