Mario Flowers, 24, of Duncan, attended his preliminary hearing Tuesday, and an arraignment date was set.

Assistant District Attorney Ryan Howard filed amended information for Flowers’ counts of feloniously pointing a firearm after former conviction of a felony, and felony possession of a firearm.

Howard said Flowers waved a jury trial and is scheduled to appear for his arraignment at 9 a.m. Sept. 10 in front of Judge Joe Enos.

“We expect his to plea pursuant to a plea recommendation,” Howard said.
