The Duncan Lakes Commission’s Tuesday, July 2, meeting was canceled due to a lack of available commissioners to open and hold item discussions at the table.
Randy Norman said that the playground construction at Clear Creek Lake is complete, and they are doing some final work on the other side of the lake before releasing official updates. He said that these updates would come in the form of a video presentation next Monday, July 8.
The agenda for the cancelled meeting included an item for Brandon Harwell to come and speak to the commission about possibly organizing some obstacle courses and/or runs at the lakes, as well as a discussion among the commissioners regarding revising Duncan Lake Rules and Regulations pertaining to Article 2.10-2.14.
The Lakes Commission meets at 5 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month. At this time they have not said whether or not July’s meeting will be rescheduled for a later time in the month.
