Stephens County Sheriff’s Office has taken a man into custody after he was accused of entering a home in Marlow and taking items and leaving with a vehicle that wasn’t his.
According to On Demand Court Records, Jacob Dylan Blakemore is accused of burglary in the first degree.
Reports show Blakemore allegedly entered a home in the 2000 block of Shamrock in Marlow without permission. Blakemore is accused of taking a backpack, a butterfly knife and keys to a red Chevy pickup. Reports also say Blakemore allegedly drove away from the residence in the truck with a passenger in his seat.
The victim stated he was asleep while it happened and woke up and saw the truck leaving with the passenger, according to reports. The victim said Blakemore never had permission to use the vehicle, according to the report.
Duncan Police found Blakemore driving the vehicle when they located the truck.
Bond for Blakemore was set at $50,000. He will reappear for a preliminary hearing conference at 9 a.m. Dec. 11.
