Duncan Homecoming Queen crowned Friday night

Ava Curry, Duncan Senior Pom member, was crowned as the Duncan High School Fall Sports Homecoming Queen during the ceremony hosted at halftime of the Duncan Demons’ game against the Noble Bears on Friday night. Her brother Gavin Curry was the escort. The Homecoming Court this year included seven candidates and their escorts, all of whom are seniors at Duncan High School. This year’s Homecoming candidates included: Softball - Emily Mefford, escorted by Daniel Ramirez; Cross Country - Nichzdaly Sepulveda, escorted by Kaceson Lolar; Volleyball - Klarissa Testa, escorted by Elijah Wright; Cheer - Katie Gravitt, escorted by Riley Hunter; Football - Emma Moore, escorted by Christian Availes; Unified Volleyball - Breanna Ashton, escorted by Marc Molina; and Pom - Ava Curry, escorted by her brother, Gavin Curry.
