Duncan High School Band performs at State Band Contest.

Duncan’s band students will bring two concerts to the stage on Monday and Tuesday as they perform their final acts of the season for community members.

At 7 p.m. Monday, May 13, Duncan Percussion Ensemble will perform in the Duncan High Auditorium. The percussion ensembles, according to Band Director Jeramy Haas, will play “a wide variety of music ranging from Classical music to Contemporary to Rock.”

The next night at the same time and same place, the high school band, the jazz band and the middle school bands will perform their final concert. This performance will also include a wide variety of music “with an emphasis on ‘movie music’,” Haas said.

Admission is free to both concerts and the public is encouraged to “come out and relax and enjoy these concerts that these great students will be putting on,” Haas said.
