Dr. Ché Miller, who is expanding his surgeon practice, has announced his ceremonial ribbon cutting is set for 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at the new facility, which opened in November.
True North Properties, located on the corner of Elk and Chisholm Trail Parkway, will showcase the “newly developed state-of-the-art facility” at The Surgical Institute with public tours and light refreshments following the ribbon cutting ceremony, states a press release.
“This is something we have been looking forward to for quite some time,” Miller said. “The Surgical Institute at True North is product of five years in development to bring advanced surgical techniques and the latest in the surgical arts to the Duncan community.”
After five years of work, Miller says he’s ready to offer quality care to his patients with advancing technology.
“We are proud to open a new office building, but more importantly we are proud to develop a new concept in surgical care. Our mission is to improve access to care, hasten referrals, see new patients promptly, and to expand our surgical services to remain in step with the healthcare standards commonplace to tertiary referral centers. Surgery is an ever-adapting field that requires a commitment to excellence. Our new facility allows us the space and technology to demonstrate new alternatives in treatments of advanced disease.” Miller said. “The Surgical Institute is housed in a 14,000 square-foot facility rich in both, customer service, and advanced information technology.”
According to Miller, True North Properties has four more “build-to-suit” properties for further development opportunity.
Miller, who has worked in Duncan health for almost 12 years, performs surgery at Duncan Regional Hospital, has served on the DRH Board and is the immediate past Chief of Staff of the hospital.
