Sometimes all you need is a day all to yourself so you can relax and take a nap.
This rings true for our special guest, Cilla, from the Stephens County Humane Society, who visited for Take Out Tuesday this week. She was quite content to catch a few sleeps throughout the day, whether on a cozy rug, couch or bed.
Cilla, a two year and five month Pit Bull Terrier, joined The Banner staff this week. While with us, we learned this sweet pup loves treats, attention and an especially cozy spot to lay her head.
She has a beautiful and soft tan and white coat, with cute perky ears.
Cilla will grab your attention quickly when you call, perking one of her ears as she listens for her name.
As much as she loves to eat, she will chase a rope, but only for a few minutes and she’s just as happy laying around or by your side.
From riding in a car to walking on a leash, Cilla knows a few commands, such as, sit and lay down and she will be glad to showcase these to your for a little attention and love.
In between doggy naps, Cilla made a visit next door to R & S Drug where she received some doggy treats from the staff.
Cilla proved she loves meeting new people, and if you have food to share, she will love you forever.
From patience to gentleness, Cilla’s happy pup who will sure make you smile.
Some other friends from our weekly visits are still available including, Gretchen, a four year old Pit Bull Terrier, Reza, a six-year-old mixed breed and Clover, our guest last week, an eight year old lab mix.
