Active cases in Stephens County and Oklahoma continued a downward trend Saturday as the State Department of Health reported a decrease of 877 active cases in the state and Stephens County saw a drop of 24 active cases.
Stephens County is at 4,615 positive cases with 60 deaths and 4,378 total recoveries, which leaves 177 active cases, according to Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH). That active case count is down from 201 day over day.
Duncan is currently at 128 active cases with 2,918 positive cases, 37 deaths and 2,753 total recoveries, while Marlow is at 37 active cases with 983 positive cases, 10 deaths and 936 total recoveries.
Comanche is close to moving out of double digits on active cases as they are at 539 positive cases, 11 deaths and 517 total recoveries, leaving 11 active cases currently.
Loco and Velma’s numbers haven’t changed in almost a week as they are still at two active cases apiece with Velma’s numbers registering in at 113 positive cases, two deaths and 109 recoveries.
Loco’s numbers are currently at 49 positive cases, no deaths and 47 recoveries while Bray is at zero active cases with two positive cases that have already recovered.
On the state level, there was an increase of 973 cases to bring that total to 418,318 while there were 23 deaths related to COVID-19 added to Saturday’s report, bringing the death toll to 4,155 in Oklahoma so far throughout the pandemic.
Oklahoma is currently at 15,600 active cases and total recoveries for the state are up by 1,827 for a total of 398,563 recoveries as of Saturday’s report.
Johns Hopkins, in their Friday report on the nation, showed a growth of 110,070 positive cases to bring that total to 28,006,100 while deaths related to COVID-19 in the country are up by 2,706 to bring that total to 495,804.
