Faith Church in Duncan is hosting a book launch party for author Kasey Van Norman, a counselor who uses Biblical construct of a life story to help with trauma recovery, and marriage and family reconciliation.
Van Norman has written books such as “Name by God,” “Raw Faith” and co-authored bible studies “Known by Name,” will be in town at 6 p.m. tonight (Nov. 8) at Faith Church, 1404 W Main St. The event is free and Van Norman will be sharing from her new book “Nothing Wasted.”
Anissa Morrow, co-pastor, said there will be chances to win some bags full of wonderful product and the first 50 women in the door receive a free bag full of amazing stuff.
“Kasey explores the possibility of maybe your past does define you, and maybe God wants to use every tiny piece of it to bring you closer to him and show others his love, grace, and glory,” Marrow said. “Nothing in your past is too broken, or boring, to be used by God.”
According to Van Norman nothing is really “broken,” just make to use in a different way.
“Kasey shows God used her broken pieces to define His amazing plan for her life and how God can do the same for you,” Morrow said.
There is child care provided for ages six months to grade school age.
