The 58th annual Miss Velma-Alma pageant will certainly go down in the record books. While the COVID-19 pandemic has brought life as we know it to a standstill and drastically changed the dynamic  of this time-honored tradition, at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 7, a new Miss V-A will be named.

The pageant has taken on a virtual life this year, with Zoom interviews and modeling taking place via video. While this method is unorthodox, and not what we would have chosen, we are choosing to make the best of the situation. We have 12 beautiful young ladies vying for the title this year, and we are very excited to have one of them represent our school and community as Miss Velma-Alma 2020.
