During a Duncan Public School Board of Education meeting on Tuesday night, members of the Endurance Federal Credit Union (EFCU) presented DPS with a $7,000 check to Duncan Public Schools for the Duncan Demon Debit Card program.

Chris Bower, President and CEO of EFCU, said they’ve been doing the Demon card for over 14 years.

Bower along with Charlsie Harty, Chief Marketing Officer, presented the check to Duncan Public School.

“Every swipe of the Demon card goes toward this check,” Bower said.

According to Bower, the amount over the years has increased due to increased participation with the card program.

The program at EFCU allows members who join an opportunity to take a Duncan Demon debit card at no cost, and a percentage of the interchange income the credit union gets off of the card will go back to the schools.
