One True Light and Duncan Public Schools serve up healthy and nutritious meals for thousands of students in the community every year.

The Duncan Public Library will hand out meals to students after school.

Amy Ryker, Library Director, said Impa’Chi Meals at the library will change their times to after school hours.

Beginning at 2:30 and running through 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 12, the library will offer free meals for kids ages one to 18.

According to Ryker, DPL partners with the Chickasaw Nation to provide meals for kids.

“DPL gave out about 950 meals this summer,” Ryker said. “We are so happy to be able to provide this program as long as it is possible.”

The meals will be distributed via drive-up and pick up in the back building at the library.

The Duncan Public Library is located at 3785 Highway 81 in Duncan.
