Curtains for a much anticipated Duncan Little Theatre (DLT) production will finally open next weekend for Stephens County residents ready to see the debut of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
According to information from DLT, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is based on the classic film and is “an authentic piece of Americana, a time-tested romantic comedy with a special, contemporary relevance.”
“Bringing the raucous Oregon frontier from the screen to the stage, it is a crowd-pleasing hit that has audiences cheering from the opening scene to the curtain call,” states a release. “Saddle up for a joyride in this tale of stubborn men and cunning women."
Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 28-29 and March 6-7 with a matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 1. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students, seniors and military personnel.
