The Duncan High School Vocal Music Department will host its annual Show Choir Contest, Wednesday, Feb. 12 and Thursday, Feb. 13 from 8:15 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the DHS Auditorium.  

Schools from Alva, Broken Arrow, Bethany, Claremore, Duncan, Edmond, Jenks, Lawton, Lexington, Oklahoma City and Owassa will compete in several classes.  Each school presents a 10- to 20-minute show of dancing and singing displaying the talents of their kids.   

There is no admission for the event, it is free and open to the public.  “Reflections”, the DHS Show Choir, will be on stage Thursday, Feb. 13 at 1:30 p.m. and “The Pitchforks” Duncan Middle School Show Choir will be onstage Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 10:40 a.m.  

Everyone is invited to go and support the Demons. Awards and trophies will be presented in each class and an overall winner will be selected at the end of the second day.
