High school students will raise their voice for a spring concert this Thursday.

Students from the Duncan High School (DHS) vocal music department will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. on May 6 at the DHS auditorium.

This year’s concert theme is “Gen Z Music,” featuring songs from the 2000’s.

During the concert, there will be a video presentation from throughout the school year featuring students from the vocal music department.

A release states, the seniors will be honored with the video and song “I’ll Remember You” from Hannah Montana by Miley Cyrus.

The show will wrap up with “Gen Z” songs followed by the traditional last song, “Just Put Some Love In Your Heart.”

According to a release, a spud dinner hosted by the Choir Parent’s Association will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. in the DHS Cafeteria, where student entertainers and chorale will perform during the dinner.

Tickets for the spud dinner are $8 for adults or four tickets for $30 which includes concert admission.

Patrons can get concert tickets for $2 at the auditorium door.

The Vocal Music Department is under the direction of Kevin Zinn.
