The Chisholm Trail Heritage Center will feature Jesse Chisholm and Allen Wooten in upcoming Zoom lives this week.
Patrons will have the opportunity to hear about the life of Jesse Chisholm during the weekly Zoom series “Trail Talk,” at 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 20.
According to the CTHC, “‘I’m a trader, not a drover,’ are words which describe a small but important fact about the man, Jesse Chisholm.”
CTHC will show how Mr. Chisholm came to be an “integral part of life along the trail and among the Native Americans of the Great Plains.”
The following day, patrons will have the opportunity to listen to Allen Wooten in his live performance on the upcoming “Trail Talk” series hosted at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 21.
Wooten is the owner of the Cowboy Opry and Music Store in Comanche.
According to CTHC, Wooten will perform live for patrons to “listen to classic country music performed by one of Oklahoma’s finest musicians.”
All of CTHC programs will begin promptly at 3 p.m.
