Chisholm Trail Arts Council is preparing for a new gallery show. This time in the spotlight will be students from all across Stephens County, who will be featured in the gallery in Youth Art Month, which kicks off in March.

The CTAC Youth Art Show is open to all students K-12. Last year, CTAC had close to 180 entries from students representing Duncan High School, Duncan Middle School, Marlow High School, Cedar Cove Studio, Jana Oakman’s Studio, Grandview, Horace Mann Elementary, Comanche High School and those who are homeschooled.

Submissions can be submitted to CTAC’s art gallery, located at 810 W. Walnut, Duncan. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 21. A come and go styled reception will be hosted from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 6, which is open to school administration, family and friends and aside from talented youth art, will also feature small snacks and refreshments.

Award ribbons will be given to first, second and third in three categories.

All art will be on display throughout the month of March and open to the public.
