Are you ready to feel the beat? An array of musical artists will perform in an upcoming live concert series.

CTAC Live! hosted by Chisholm Trail Arts Council (CTAC) will return this October when the 2021-2022 season officially kicks off.

With four shows scheduled between now and April, the Rastrelli Cello Quartet sponsored by First Bank & Trust will open the concert series at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 21 at the Simmons Center.

A biography about the Rastrelli Cello Quartet states the four members came from Germany and began to work together in 2002 and have “devoted themselves ever since to exploring and experiencing the cello’s world of sound.”

According to a recent release, “the quartet usually treats its audience with a mixture of arrangements of chamber music works, orchestral classics, and standards of cello literature, as well as popular music, jazz, klezmer or tango.”

Next up on Dec. 10, the Backtrack Vocals — An A Cappella Christmas, sponsored by Bank of Commerce, will take the stage.

According to a recent release, Backtrack Vocal is a “five-person professional singing group, who performs a wide selection of genres, got their start on YouTube, where it now has over 10 million views and 110,000 plus subscribers.”

Aside from their Dec. 10 performance, the group will give a free afternoon matinee schools within the Stephens County School District, which is a part of CTAC Live’s educational outreach program.

Then, on Feb. 11, 2022, Monte Montgomery, sponsored by Arvest Bank and Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation, takes the stage.

According to a recent release, “The Austin, Texas based guitarist first gained notoriety in 1999, after performing a jaw-dropping live performance on an episode of the PBS series of Austin City Limits.”

To wrap up, on April 9, 2022, the OU School of Dance, sponsored by Duncan Regional Health, will perform.

All concerts or performances begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Simmons Center Theatre, located 800 Chisholm Trail Parkway in Duncan.

When patrons join CTAC, they can get a package which includes:

• Sculptor at $500 — three CTAC live season tickets plus four CTAC Flex cards and perks.

• Painter at $250 — two CTAC live season tickets plus three CTAC Flex cards and perks.

• Musician at $150 — one CTAC live season tickets plus two CTAC Flex cards and perks.

• Illustrator at $100 — one CTAC live season ticket and one CTAC Flex card and perks.

• Dancer at $75 — one CTAC live season ticket and one CTAC Flex card.

• Singer (straight membership) — $50 (artists receive $5 off entry fees).

• In honor/memory of.

Season tickets are $75, Senior/Military season tickets for 55 and over are $65 and student season tickets are $20 for 18 and under.
