Crapemyrtle Concert Series

Lion of Texas Entertainment is excited to announce an entire series of musical productions coming to the Duncan Simmons Center during the first half of 2020. The Duncan Crapemyrtle Music Series is presented by YS Asset Management and will feature the following concerts:

January 11th at 7pm: “Reflections of Patsy Cline” starring award winning performer Lisa Layne. This show has won the “Best Show in Branson Award” on two occasions and Lisa Layne is considered by many as the best performer of Patsy Cline!

February 8th at 7:30:  The legendary recording artist Johnny Rodriquez! With 16 #1 hits this iconic performer has been part of the heart and soul of Country music since he first hit the scene. A true Hall of Famer and star! The show will also feature up and coming artist Matt Mercado as the opening act.


March 21 7:30: “A Cristina Tribute Show- A Tribute to the Queen of Tejano!” Featuring Cristina Amaro and a 7-piece band this high energy Latin show which includes Tejano, bachata, merrengue, reggaeton, and cumbia is sure to be a crowd pleaser! 


May 23 at 7:30; Nashville recording artist Wade Hayes! With two gold albums and six top ten hits including a #1, Wade Hayes was one of the most prominent voices in Country Music in the 90’s, before suffering from stage 4 cancer. Remarkably, Wade has beaten his health issues and is back presenting the same great music which made him a household name. Hear hits like “Old Enough to Know Better”, “On A Good Night”, and “What I Meant to Say”, plus a whole lot more. This show will also feature Matt Mercado as the opening act.
