Former Duncan resident Lila Faye Couch, 81, of Norman, Oklahoma died Monday April 7, 2014 in Norman.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, Duncan with Rev. Tom Amos officiating. Interment will follow at Duncan Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, April 10 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Lila Faye was born on Sept. 29, 1932 in Sedalia, Missouri to Charles Henry and Helen Margaret (Skinner) Jackson. She married Charles Lawton Couch on Feb. 16, 1951 in Shawnee. He preceded her in death on Feb.19, 2001.

Lila earned a Bachelors' Degree from Cameron University. She was employed with Halliburton Services, retiring in 1993. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Deborah Burrows and husband Don of Noble, Okla., Brenda Honore' and husband Bruce of Garland, Texas and Cris Couch of Edmond, Okla,; a sister, Donna Rae Smith of Dallas; two brothers, Robert L. Jackson of Winston Salem, N.C. and Philip G. Jackson of Storey, Wyo.; three grandchildren: Kacy B. Himes, Clarissa Honore' and Barry Honore'.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Doris Pearl Harris; two brothers, Charles William Jackson and Charles H. Jackson Jr. and a daughter-in-law, Sydney Couch.
