Carol Ann David

MARLOW — Carol Ann David, 77, of Duncan, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014.

Services for Carol and her husband, Bobby David, who preceded her in death on March 10, 2014, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 26, in Elgin at Fort Sill National Cemetery.

Carol was born Aug. 25, 1936, at Fort Sill, to Vane and Frances Ogden. She married Bobby David on July 3, 1954. To this union, four children were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bobby; sister, Kathy Hickey; and her grandson, Ryan David.

Survivors include daughter, Vickie Henson and husband Robert of Duncan; son, Gary David of Duncan; daughter, Jane Stewart of Gallatin, Tenn.; son, Ben David and wife Belinda of McAlester; sister, Judy McGuire of Oklahoma City; aunt, Nell Depanfilis of San Antonio, Texas; sister-in-law, Dorothy David of Duncan; grandchildren: Renee Sutton of Tennessee, Timothy Waggoner of Duncan, Emily Williams of Norman, Skyler David of Norman and Rylee David of Duncan; great-grandchildren: Jackson and Johnathan Sutton of Tennessee, and Kenzie and Peyton Waggoner of Duncan; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She also had many beloved friends at the Wilkins Nursing Center.

Pallbearers will be Robert Henson, Skyler David, Timothy Waggoner, Gary David, Jackson Sutton and Johnathan Sutton.

Should the date for The World's Largest Garage Sale be changed from the third weekend in July to sometime in October to take advantage of cooler weather like we had this past weekend?

No. It's better in the summer cause kids are out of school.
Yes. More shoppers would come during nice fall weather.
Either time is fine.
