Mary Ruelene Gray, 78, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 in Duncan.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2014 in the Marlow Cemetery with Rev. Ron. Maxfield officiating. Services are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow.

Ruelene was born Thursday, Jan. 9, 1936 west of Marlow, to Ruel and Mildred (Shadden) Blake. On June 17, 1955, Ruelene married Joe Gray in Marlow. They spent most of their married life in Farmington, N.M. and Libya, North Africa. During that time a son was born, Blake J. Gray. Blake was a joy and a blessing to his mother's life. Ruelene was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marlow. She worked several years at the Stephens County Court House. Ruelene was always busy and loved people. She spent her last few years at West Wind Assisted Living.

Ruelene is survived by her husband, Joe and son, Blake of the home, sister Brenda Daley of Marlow, aunt Joan Ward of Duncan and several nieces and nephews.

Ruelene was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Marlow.

Should the date for The World's Largest Garage Sale be changed from the third weekend in July to sometime in October to take advantage of cooler weather like we had this past weekend?

No. It's better in the summer cause kids are out of school.
Yes. More shoppers would come during nice fall weather.
Either time is fine.
