80% rain chance today

DUNCAN — Showers and possibly a thunderstorm are predicted for today by the National Weather Service.

The chance of precipitation is 80 percent with a high near 55 and east southeast wind around 8 mph.

Tonight there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 a.m., then a slight chance of showers.

The chance of rain is 40 percent, the weather service said.

Skies should be cloudy with a low around 43 and north wind around 7 mph.

On Monday, there is a 20 percent chance of showers. Skies will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 63 and north northwest wind 7 to 11 mph.

Should the date for The World's Largest Garage Sale be changed from the third weekend in July to sometime in October to take advantage of cooler weather like we had this past weekend?

No. It's better in the summer cause kids are out of school.
Yes. More shoppers would come during nice fall weather.
Either time is fine.
