Hare wins Crossman Award

DUNCAN — Jesse Hare won Duncan High School’s most prestigous  award at the  the school’s annual award ceremony today.

As winner of the Crossman Award, Hare will speak at Duncan High School’s graduation at 8 p.m. May 22 at the Halliburton Stadium.

Fellow seniors Aubrey Mouser, Sam Moffatt, Sam Allen, Connor Kelly and Patrick Sullivan also were nominated for the award.

 Hare plans to attend the University of Oklahoma to study political science and law. His career plan is to become a politician/lawyer.

Hare’s school activities include serving as president of DECA, National Honor Society and Key Club.

Should the date for The World's Largest Garage Sale be changed from the third weekend in July to sometime in October to take advantage of cooler weather like we had this past weekend?

No. It's better in the summer cause kids are out of school.
Yes. More shoppers would come during nice fall weather.
Either time is fine.
