Rain chances put at 90 percent

DUNCAN — There is a 90 percent chance of rain Thursday and temperatures will get cooler than they have been,  the National Weather Service said.

Forecasters warned that heavy rainfall that could lead to flooding is possible.

Gusty winds and small hail also are possible, mainly near the Red River.

Nearly a half-inch of rain was reported in Duncan on Wednesday.

The high temperature Thursday will only reach 74 as a cool front pushes through Southern Oklahoma, the weather service reported.

Rain chances on Friday will decrease to 20 percent on Friday while the high temperature will climb to 81.
