Almost a quarter-inch of rain falls in Duncan Monday

DUNCAN — Nearly a quarter of rain fell in Duncan Monday afternoon and more could be on the way tonight, the National Weather Service said.

Storm chances tonight hinge how far a cool front pushes south and how strong it is, forecasters said.

Precipitation chances tonight are 40 to 60 percent.

Colder air is expected Monday night in Stephens County. Lows in the upper 60s are expected.

Rain chances will decrease on Tuesday but will increase to 70 percent on Wednesday, the weather service said.
