Jimmy's Egg postpones grand opening

DUNCAN — The grand opening of Jimmy’s Egg has been pushed back once again.

The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony, which was originally scheduled for June 11th and rescheduled for June 18th, has now been pushed back to Wednesday, June 25 at 11 a.m.

Chris Deal, Duncan Chamber of Commerce President, said the grand opening has been pushed back due to certain speed bumps, including approval from the State Fire Marshall.

However, Jimmy’s Egg employees will be using this delay to their advantage. Employees have sent out invitations for their mock opening which will take place this Saturday and Sunday.

Although the grand opening and ribbon cutting is scheduled for June 25, a soft opening will happen on June 23.

“It gives employees the chance to get to know one another and how well they work with customers,” Deal said.
