Graham opposes Russell in judge race

DUNCAN — Ken Graham, an attorney who practices in Lawton and lives in Duncan,  filed for the District Judge opening in District 5 along with  Associate Judge G. Brent Russell, who already announced his intentions to seek the office.

Graham, 68, lives on Camelback Road in Duncan.

He and Russell, 55,  declared their candidacies on Wednesday, the first day candidates could official seek office, to replace incumbent District Judge Joe Enos, who will retire at the end of his term in January.

    Despite facing a rigorous schedule, Duncan was picked by VYPE’s preseason football preview to return to the postseason after a one-year hiatus.
    With new coach Craig Benson taking over this season, the magazine predicted Duncan will finish fourth in Class 5A District 1 ahead of Chickasha and behind Ardmore. The Demons are also ranked as the No. 16 team in the Class, with Lawton Mac being the highest ranked team in the district at No. 4.
