DUNCAN — A party that marks the start of the Trail Dance Film Festival takes places at 7 p.m. tonight at the Chisolm Trail Heritage Center’s Experience Theater.

Movie directors, actors and others involved in the independent movie industry will attend the  “Where the Beer and Buffalo Foam” party, along with sponsors, event planners, volunteers and weekend pass holders to the film festival.

The event is described as “family friendly” but organizers said beer will be available.
