Henderson & Pitts

DUNCAN — Hillary Jane Henderson of Sweetwater, Texas, and Ryan Harley Pitts, were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. July 24, 2010, at the Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium in Sweetwater.

Hillary is the daughter of Tom and Josephine Henderson of Sweetwater. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Newman Hill and the late Paul A. Hill of Sweetwater, and the late Bryce and Mary Henderson of Altus.

Ryan is the son of Dorothy Pitts of Duncan and David and Vicki Pitts of Duncan. He is the grandson of the late Harley and Pansy Doughty and Helen Doughty of Comanche and Wylie and Sarah Pitts of Comanche.

Warren Harkins will officiate the ceremony.

Danna Maberry, organist, and Jonathan Jones, pianist, provided the music for the event.

The auditorium decerations were by Paradise Weddings of Sweetwater and Sweetwater Floral of Sweetwater.

The bride was escorted by her father, Tomy Henderson. She wore a dress an veil by Alfred Angelo Bridal of Oklahoma City and carried a bouquet by Sweetwater Florar of Sweetwater.

The maid of honor was Meridith Henderson of Altus. Jennifer Flynn of Yukon, Emily Ledesma of Sweetwater, Emily Boenm of Dallas, Texas, Sharron Fortenberry of Garland, Texas, Terri Pitts of Ft. Worth, Texas, Kathryn Hirt of McKinney, Texas, Mallory Pratt of Norman, and Jennifer Ristau of Altus were the bridesmaids. The attendants wore chocolate brown, tea leaf length dresses from SJ Bridal of Oklahoma Ciy. Sweetwater Florar provided the flowers that were green hydrangeas with hypericum berries.

Baylee Pitts of Ninnekah was the flower girl.

Davey Pitts of Ninnekah and Jared Pitts of Comanche were the best men. Kyle Bunds of Owasso, David Pratt of Cheyenne, Kyle Waid of Waurika, Adam Whitworth of Lawton, Jason McPhaul of Lawton, John Marshall of Norman, and Spencer Hunt of Norman were the groomsmen.

Patrick Cross White of Hennessey, Travis Crochet of Ninnekah, William David Loggie III of Oklahoma City, and Johnny Dewayne Doughty of Comanche were the ushers.

The reception was held at the home of the brides parents in Sweetwater. Jacey Pitts of Ninnekah was the guest book attendant.

Tere and Vicki Lawrence of Sweetwater, Freddy and Beverly Creed of Sweetwater, and John and Susan Bewley of Sweetwater were the reception assistants.

A rehearsal dinner was held by Dorothy Pitts, mother of the groom, and David and Vicki Pitts, at Allen’s Homestyle Fried Chicken in Sweetwater.

The couple traveled to Nassau, Bahamas for their wedding trip. They will establish a home in Oklahoma City. The bridal showers  were April 10, in Sweetwater, June 12, in Norman, and May 1, in Oklahoma City.
