Bush & Snider

EDMOND — Jacey Kaye Bush and Matthew Page  Snider, both of Edmond, were united in marriage at 7:30 p.m. June 12, 2010. The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Kaye Bush of Edmond. She is the granddaughter of Allan and Geri McGuire of Duncan, Katherine Bush and the late James V. Bush of Valley View, Texas.

The groom is the son of Mike and Kim Mullins of Edmond and the late William Snider. He is the grandson of Richard and Barbara Kerrick of Oklahoma City and the late Joseph and Hepsi Snider of Edmond.

The bride’s father officiated the ceremony. The wedding took place in the backyard of Jacey’s uncle and aunt, Kent and Linda McGuire, amidst a tropical poolside setting, the couple was married under an archway of oak trees covered in white lights with white pom flowers hanging from branches surrounding the trees.

The bride was escorted by her father while she wore a Jim Hjelm designed dress. Her dress was a white silk taffeta ball gown with an asymmetrical draped silhouette with ivory contrast, one shoulder band accented with a crystal feather flower detail, bubble hem and a chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of white roses, white hydrangeas, white delphiniums, wrapped in silk white ribbon adorned with an antique broach.

Kelley Swaim of Edmond, was the Maid of Honor. The bridesmaids were Whitney Byler of Oklahoma City; Madison Bush of Edmond; Courtney Watson of Oklahoma City and Anya Greather of Oklahoma City. The bridesmaids ore dresses of chartreuse tropical aqua. Each wore a unique neckline of large topaz stones, and ribbons which were gifts from the bride. Each carried a bouquet of yellow imperial lilies wrapped with stems wrapped in tropical aqua silk ribbons.

Hailey Wickcliffe of Oklahoma City was the flower girl. Max Byler of Oklahoma City, was the ring bearer. The best men of the groom were James Mauldin of Houston, Texas; Scott Hill of Edmond; Todd Nelson of Houston; Cole Snider of Orlando, Fla.; Michael Mullins of Edmond and Richard Dunham IV of Edmond.

The ushers for the ceremony were Ramsey Bush of Edmond and Marc Byler of Oklahoma City.

The reception was in the backyard of Kent and Linda McGuire. The landscape for the reception area was illuminated by large hanging lanterns and string lights throughout. The reception tables were under the lights and were covered in white linen cloths and each had a unique glass bowl centerpiece with wrought iron holders.

The bridal assistants were Alexis McGuire of Edmond and Caroline Mullins of Edmond. The rehearsal dinner was June 11, 2010, hosted by Mike and Kim Mullins in Edmond. The couple’s destination for their wedding trip was New Orleans. The newlywed couple plans to establish a home in Norman.
