Lynne Marie Lara of Duncan and Jeffrey Gehron of Baldwin exchanged wedding vows at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at Woodward Park in Tulsa, with Keith Walker of the Church at Battle Creek in Broken Arrow, officating.
Bride’s parents are Geroge and Dottie Lara of Duncan.
Groom’s parents are the late Luann Baldwin, and Ed Baldwin and wife, Joanne, of McRae, Ga.
For decorations, the natural look of the park was used.
No other decorations were needed. The park featured rocks, a running stream and a bridge, all of which made the perfect backdrop.
The bride was escorted by Adam Chavez, nephew, and her father, George Lara.
The bride’s flowers were designed by Stems in Tulsa.
It included roses, calla lilies, asiatic lilies, yarrow and statius in vibrant shades of yellow, fuschia and purple.
The veil was made by the bride’s mother. It was a cathedral length with crystal stones.
The dress was a white satin mermaid sheath style edged with crystal and bugle beads from Treasured Gowns in Sapulpa.
It has thing straps with a V-shaped bodice and a semi-low back with ruching down the back of the dress.
The matron of honor was Amy Tidwell, sister of the bride, of Tulsa.
Best man was Hannah Baldwin, daughter of the groom, of Sapulpa.
The reception was at Los Cabos restaurant in Jenks. The rehearsal dinner was at Hideaway Pizza, hosted by the groom.
The wedding trip destination was Cancun, Mexico.
The residence after the trip was Sapulpa.
