WAURIKA — Some of the world’s finest rodeo bullfighters will be in competition at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, when the Rex Dunn Memorial Challenge of Champions is held at Coyote Hills Arena.

The original Challenge of Champions was created by rodeo legend Dunn over 20 years ago, with the name being changed to the Red Dunn Memorial Challenge of Champions following the death of the PRCA Hall of Fame clown, bullfighter and stock trainer and contractor in October 2012.

The Waurika FFA Boosters now sponsor the event, using the proceeds to facilitate Waurika FFA Chapter projects and programs.

There will be 12 bullfighters competing for shares of nearly $4,000 in prize money.

A calf fry meal will be held at 6:30 p.m.
