MARLOW — The Marlow Outlaws found out the same thing five other teams had already discovered this season: Blanchard is tough to beat.

Marlow (3-3 overall, 1-2 district) held off the undefeated Lions for a quarter before Blanchard broke the game open with two second quarter scores en route to a 26-0 win in Marlow on Friday.

Blanchard (6-0, 3-0) reached the end zone for the first time with 8:24 left in the first half on a 15-yard run before returning just over 2 minutes later on a 62-yard pass.

The Lions tacked on a 10-yard touchdown run in the third before icing their win with an 18-yard run with 7 minutes left in the fourth.

The Outlaws will try to get back to .500 in district play next week at Tuttle.
