Stephens County residents to run in OKC Marathon

DUNCAN — Seventy-seven people from Stephens County will participate in the 13th annual Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon Sunday.

  Nearly 25,000 runners will take part in a marathon, a half-marathon, a relay, a 5K run and a kids’ marathon to commemorate the Murrah Federal Building bombing that killed 169 people April 19, 1995.

  Competitors, listed alphabetically by event, from Stephens County are:

  The marathon, half-marathon and relay begin at 6:30 a.m. The 5K starts at 6:40 a.m. and the kids’ marathon begins at 8:15 a.m.
