VELMA — There will be 10 players representing Stephens County schools Bray-Doyle and Velma-Alma in the boys and girls Oilfield Conference All-Star games Monday night at 6:30 and 8 p.m.

Velma-Alma coach Kenny Bare will coach the girls game, which will include his own players Samantha Moore, Kaylie Keenan, Teddi Southerland, Ariah Johnson and Bita Humphreys. The players were selected by the eight conference coaches.

Bare is excited to get to coach one last game with the group of seniors.

“I looking forward to having one last hoorah with them,” Bare said.

Also selected to the girls game were Bray-Doyle senior Ashlee Kelly and junior Taylor Nichols.

For the boys game, the three Comets who led the team in scoring were selected: senior Jaz Gayanich, senior Conner Sullivan and sophomore Ryan Ross.
