DUNCAN — As the sun went down, the competition at the Twin Oaks Golf Club heated up Saturday, with the course hosting a two person night scramble.

Players hit the links early and often at the event, opening with nine holes of play during the day and then spending their evening on the course for the last nine holes.

Including 26 teams with 52 players, the tournament was divided into three flights that included heavy competition at the top of the leaderboard.

Leading the way in Flight A was the team of Jay Head and Kyle Macpherson, who finished one stroke ahead of Oscar Martinez and Chris Gilbert Jr. for first place with a score of 62.

Flight B belong to another close winner, as Bobby Artrip and Thomas Ball teamed up to narrowly beat out Brance Lipscomb and Dennis Langham for first by one stroke with a 69.

In Flight C, Randy Savage and Robbie Wilkerson also won a competitive field with a 78.
