Connor Kelly punched a ticket to state in the 300 Meter Hurdles, taking second behind Western Heights.
Playing a large part in Duncan’s top five finish came in the high jump and pole vault, as the girls team took first in each events.
Amberleigh Rushin punched her ticket to state with a first place finish in the high jump while Kaitlyn Wright found similar results in the long jump, taking first.
Duncan also recieved big points in the hurdles events, thanks to the efforts of Rebecca Brewer. Brewer took third in the the 100 and 300 meter hurdles races and also placed fifth in the 100 Meter Dash.
Alexa Goldsberry and Aja Calvin also found success in the field events, taking third and fourth in the discus throw, respectively. In the shot put, Calvin finished fifth while Goldsberry took sixth.
Consistency was the key for Duncan’s Madison Bowles in her meter dash races, as she took fifth in both the 200 and 400 meter races.
Macey Lagaly added two more points for Duncan in the 1600 Meter Run where she finished in fifth.
The teams will compete for their ultimate goal at the State Meet this Friday and Saturday.
