MARLOW — It might be just the preseason, but the Marlow Lady Outlaws are already playing like the games matter.

Monday night in their first game of the evening at Southwest Park, MHS’ Lady Outlaws handled the Lindsay Leopardettes by a score of 16-1, with Gigi Wall getting the win on the mound.

After a scoreless first inning, which saw the Lady Outlaws leave two runners stranded, Marlow opened the floodgates in the second inning.

Kaitlyn Kizarr made it 1-0 with an RBI single, before teammate Diamond Morris got an RBI single of her own which scored Conner Clements.

Wall then added to her own cause as she hammered a two-RBI double down the third base line to make it 4-0.

Shelby Elroy then got in on the run parade, when she collected a two-RBI double of her own to make it 6-0, before Jordan Ridge got a two-RBI single to make it an 8-0 game.

Marlow wasn’t finished just yet though.

An RBI single from Clements followed by an RBI double by Kirstyn Elroy to make it 10-0 was then added on when Clements scored on a walk to make it 11-0.

Emily Taylor made it 13-0 with a two-RBI single, followed by a three-RBI double from Kelsee Morriston to make it 16-0.

Lindsay’s lone run of the game came when Allison Smith scored on a wild pitch.

Wall struck out seven batters while only allowing five hits on one run in a complete game effort.
