DUNCAN — Two games into the season, the Marlow Outlaws certainly don’t seem to be in rebuilding mode.

The Outlaws improved to 2-0 on Friday night, picking up a win over Elgin, 51-42.

Senior Jackson Huddleston and freshman Braeden O’Dell each scored 12 points to lead Marlow, while junior Kirby Neufeld added 10 points.

The Outlaws will look to remain perfect as they host Tuttle on Tuesday.

The Bronchos bounced back from a narrow loss with a lopsided win Friday.

Coming off a two-point defeat against Sterling, Central High took out its frustrations against Ninnekah, rolling to a 61-29 victory.

Senior Dallin Ferrin continued his strong start to the season, churning out 16 points, while senior Connor Albiston had 12, junior Zarek Hickman added 10 and junior John Repp had eight.

The Bronchos will travel to Empire on Tuesday.

With 1.8 seconds left on the clock, the Eagles spoiled Comanche’s season opener.

Wilson knocked down a shot from just inside the 3-point line just before the buzzer and sent the Indians home with a two-point loss.

“We played extremely hard and we played great defense, we just didn’t shoot the ball real well,” Comanche coach Nick Price said. “For it being our first night out, what I was happy to see was how hard we played.”

Senior Garrett Morrow led Comanche with 17 points, while senior Zach Young ad eight and junior Jerron Sanders added seven. Freshmen Mason Taylor and Braden Ledford each had four and senior Kale Reed chipped in with two points.

The Indians will play at home for the first time this season on Tuesday as they host Velma-Alma.
