DUNCAN — After falling behind early, the Marlow baseball team made it clear that they weren’t ready for their winning streak to be snapped.

The Outlaws (26-4) battled back to erase a fourth inning 5-1 deficit to win its eleventh straight game, beating Anadarko 6-5 on the road.

“It comes down to good pitching. We’re playing our best baseball of the year right now– best defense, best work on the mound.”

Despite allowing the early lead, Outlaws ace Wakley Bergner was once again the difference, earning his 11th win this season with a complete game effort. Bergner, who struck out nine and allowed three earned runs, now owns a 1.43 earned run average on the season.

Marlow showed no fear after falling behind, scoring four runs in the fifth and two in the seventh to complete the comeback.

Senior Tyler Brite led the Outlaws offense, going 2-4 with two runs and two RBIs.
