Lane's teammates to hold memorial game in Duncan

ADA — Baseball teammates of the late Chris Lane are getting together to honor his memory in Duncan.

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, current members of the East Central University and Redlands Community College baseball squads will conduct an exhibition baseball game at 5 p.m. at the Duncan High School baseball field as part of “Chris Lane Night at the Ballpark.”

Lane, who was tragically killed back in August, was preparing for his senior season at ECU after playing catcher as a junior for the Tigers in 2013. Prior to that, he played two seasons at Redlands Community College in El Reno.

Should the date for The World's Largest Garage Sale be changed from the third weekend in July to sometime in October to take advantage of cooler weather like we had this past weekend?

No. It's better in the summer cause kids are out of school.
