Archery enthusiasts to enjoy Benefit Shoot

DUNCAN — Starting next Saturday, it will be time for archers of all ages to take aim, and let fly.

With the start of the Charlie Hixon Benefit Shoot, will come a chance for bowing enthusiasts to show their skills, as the event will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Duncan Bowhunter’s Archery Range, located just across from Duncan Lake.

Among the divisions will be the youth division for those 15 and under, along with a women’s and men’s division for longbow and recurve class.

There will also be a self bow division and a senior’s division for those 60 and older.

Entry fees will be $15 per round and buckles will be awarded to those who finish first through third place in each division.

Food and novelty games will also be available during the event.
